Puppy Contract
Sales Agreement & Guarantee
This puppy is sold with first shots, vet checked, and dewormed. A health certificate is provided with your puppy. In order for this contract to be valid, you must have your puppy checked by a veterinarian within 72 hours (or 3 business days). This is to confirm that this is a healthy puppy. We guarantee your puppy against hereditary and congenital defects until the puppy is the age of six months, and will replace the cost of your puppy. For this guarantee to be valid, we require proof of defect, with original health certificate identifying the defect, dated and signed by a qualified Ontario Veterinarian. We are not responsible of any of your veterinarian or other expenses after the puppy has left our home. Hypoglycemia (lower than normal level of blood glucose) is not covered by this guarantee. Patellar Luxation: Also known as "slipped stifles," which is a common problem in small dogs also will not be covered by this guarantee. Your puppy is sold for a family pet only, not for breeding. The buyer agrees to provide good and responsible care by providing adequate training, attention, exercise, nutrition, shelter, grooming, and veterinary care to ensure the physical and well-being of the dog. There is no guarantee on the disposition, size, or characteristics of this puppy, nor any illness that can be treated or corrected. Be advised that sometimes the stress of a new environment, along with other factors, can bring on illness. The buyer agrees not to expose this puppy to dogs whose vaccination history is unknown, nor to areas that they may frequent until this puppy has completed its vaccination and booster series. This puppy is not registered under the bylaws of the Canadian Kennel Club and is sold accordingly.
